Winter-Cantuccini
Crispy winter cantuccini with chocolate, spices, nuts and Lemke marzipan. Baked twice, intensely flavorful and perfect with coffee or tea.

100 g Lemke Marzipan Simply Pure

Method
Melt the butter, dissolve the dark chocolate in it, and let the mixture cool briefly.
Stir in the butter-chocolate mixture.
Add the flour, baking powder, gingerbread spice, and cinnamon and mix to form a dough.

Work the marzipan, Mampfmandeln, pistachios, and hazelnuts into the dough.
Shape the dough into three equal-sized logs.
Place the logs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, flatten them slightly, and brush them with milk.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (356 °F), using conventional top and bottom heat, for approximately 25 minutes.
Remove the logs from the oven and let them cool for about 15 minutes.
Cut into slices and bake for another 5 minutes, until crispy.
Let cool and enjoy.
